The new single from The Woods. This one's dedicated to you. All of you, working so hard to keep the creativity flowing while juggling life. Getting bruised, floored and maybe doubting if there’s any point just now. But it's you who's lighting sparks in the world and making a difference with every little step.

With a message carried on a vocal line as warming as an autumn rum, at first starkly spine-tingling, and growing with each phrase, rhythms and instrumentation are weaved into a glorious soul-flecked tapestry of lush textures. A tonic for tired souls trying their hardest, The Woods’ picks you up and gives you an aural hug.

With every part conceived and recorded by McFadzean in his rural Scottish Borders studio, The Woods is becoming adept at conjuring unique sonic waters for us to soak our aching bones. Maybe no surprise that he’s been drawn to produce music for worlds of fantasy as diverse as London Fashion Week to children’s books, and why his upcoming EP promises to be an escapist’s dream.
